Bred at Wye College, introduced in 1972. Mid-size pale green cones with medium alpha level and good aromatic potential, tending to fresh verdant character of hedgerow and verges, with floral, pine and grassy notes. Used to good effect for both bittering and late aromas in many classic British bitters and pale ales.
